Rosina Jessen's Obituary
Rosina Jessen, 97, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center – East.
Funeral Services will be 11:30, Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30am to the service time Friday at the funeral home.
Rosina Aedo was born on April 28, 1924, in London, England, the daughter of Daniel and Emelyon (Lyons) Aedo. She married Robert H. Jessen on July 26, 1970, in Morrison; he died November 8, 2011.
Rosina worked at Swift Foods for many years. She also owned and operated a tavern in Clinton for several years. She enjoyed going to the casino.
Rosina is survived by her son: Daniel Schoenig of Davenport; her sister: Julie Aedo and her brother: Eddie Aedo both of London, England; a niece: Patricia Aedo of Ireland; and her beloved dog: Coco. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Michael Boyd, and two brothers: Johny and Connie.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
