My sincere condolences to Rosie's family. While going to Washington Junior High I became good friends with Merlin (Duwayne) and Shirley. I have such good memories of Rosie being such a warm, friendly, and devoted loving Mother. We had such good times together! Their home between 6th & 7th Ave So always reminds me of so much happiness. Keep her memories alive Merlin & Teresa! Rest in Peace Rosie!

ROSIE AND I WERE VERY CLOSE. ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS GROWING UP. SHE ALWAYS LOVED FAMILY SO MUCH. DUWAYNE SHIRLEY AND TERESA WERE ALWAYS MORE LIKE MY BROTHER AND SISTERS THAN MY NEPHEW AND NIECES. ROSIE HAD A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR AND SHE HAD TO TO PUT UP WITH ME WHO LIKED TO TEASE HER. THERE ARE TOO MANY GOOD MEMORYS TO EVEN MENTION BUT I WILL SAY I THINK HER MEETING JERRY WAS A GOD SENT.
