Rose "Sally" M Bieber's Obituary
Rose “Sally” M. Bieber, 91, of Camanche, formerly of Clinton passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Eagle Point Health Care Center – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Winter, Jeff Winter, Mike McMahon, Matt Groves, Collin Filloon and Brian Filloon. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
Rose Mariam Bieber was born August 20, 1927 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of James and Bessie (Comstock) Smith. She was a 1945 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Kenneth Bieber on July 3, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa; he preceded her in death on November 18, 1989.
Sally worked as a File Clerk for Curtis Company for 13 years and then for Nielsen Company for 28 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton.
She enjoy bowling, spending time at the casino but mostly she enjoyed time spent with her family especially her great grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her two children: Rick (Theresa) Bieber of Clinton and Penny (Bob) Quinn of Camanche; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother Jim Smith of Clinton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband; Rose was preceded in death by two brother and two sisters.
Memorial may be made to the family.
