Rose Paschal's Obituary
Rose M. Paschal, 75, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Eagle Point Nursing Home – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery – Milledgeville, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rose Mary Michael was born on December 11, 1947 in Texarkana, Arkansas the daughter of William and Daisy (Lamm) Michael. She was a graduate of Freeport High School and received two bachelors degrees. She married Lloyd Paschal, Jr. in 1969; he died in 1973.
Rose was a teacher’s aide at the St. Francis School for Exceptional People in Freeport for many years. She loved to go shopping and eating out at restaurants. She was an avid watcher of Blue Bloods and listener of Elvis. She also enjoyed studying her ancestry and doing genealogy.
Rose is survived by her daughter: Justine (Serina Hill) Paschal of Clinton; grandchildren: Brenna, Annalena, Christian, Ivy, Travis, Kandace, and Kirah; many great-grandchildren; and her brother: Walter “Butch” (Sandra) Holcomb of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren: Anthony and Elena; two brothers, and a sister.
