Rose H. Miller's Obituary
Rose H. Miller, 93 of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, September 12, 2024 at her home in Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Fenzel, Jr., Ben Fenzel, Jason Baker, and Dan Detlefsen. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob and Brendan Fenzel. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Rose Helen Shore was born on February 13, 1931, in Fulton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Harriett (Haswell) Shore, Sr. She was a graduate of Lyons High School. She married Lewis Miller on November 15, 1975 in Davenport; he passed away on June 25, 1997.
Rose was very proud of raising many kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews in her lifetime. She also worked for Aaron Cousins State Farm office and was a bus monitor for the Clinton Community School District. She enjoyed taking care of her family, drinking coffee and loving on her animals.
Rose is survived by her daughter: Patricia (Richard) Baker of Clinton, 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, a sister: Mary Shore-Pitts of Clinton, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters, one brother, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
