Our sweet mother, Rosalie Holsclaw (Rose or Rosie to her family and friends), passed away on Thursday, March 23. Rose was a kind, thoughtful and unselfish woman who will be loved, missed, and forever cherished. Known as Grandbear Read Obituary
I'm sad to hear of Rose passing.
She was such an inspiration to me. Teaching me so much.
She was the classiest, most beautiful women I've ever known. Her smile and way of being kind was natural. Shecwas such a caring person who did so much for the Art community. I will miss her dearly.

We send our condolences to the family of Rose Holsclaw. I remember so well the many visits Aunt Rose and Uncle Bill would make to our Bolty family gatherings and reunions. Rose was such a special person and she will be missed but my memories of her and her family live on.

Wonderful lady. Second mom to a lot of kids that ran track or grew up with Dave or Ann.
The world is a little darker today as the bright light of Rose has been dimmed. Rose was a dear friend and co-worker and could always be counted on to brighten the days of everyone with whom she encountered. She was kind, generous, compassionate, positive, silly, humorous, and loving, and we all wanted to be just like her when we grew up. I will always remember Rose for times she made the daily announcements at school and she proclaimed to us all, “Let us love one another.” RIP in peace, dear friend. You will be greatly missed.
