Ronald K. Tucker's Obituary
Ronald K. Tucker, 65, of Thomson, formerly of Camanche, passed away, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at his home in Thomson.
Memorial Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ronald Keith Tucker was born on June 30, 1956 in Clinton, the son of Rueben and LaVerne (Shewmaker) Tucker. He married Jill Hansen on August 9, 2012.
Ronald worked at the nuclear power plant in Cordova as a guard and later in maintenance at Mercy Medical Center for 20 years.
Ronald enjoyed woodworking, camping, the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his wife: Jill of Thomson; three daughters: Aubrey Schultz of Clinton, Maddison Tucker of Morrison, Bailee Tucker of Morrison; step-children: Jessica (Jason Thumann) Laing of Muscatine, and Ryan (Jessica Adams) Foster of Rockford; 10 grandchildren; his siblings: Larry (Peggy) Tucker of Morrison, Gary “Rubin” (Amber Metzger) Tucker of Low Moor, and Sharon (Robert) Hess of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Jeramy; and two brothers: Robert & Russell Sheldon.
