Ronald Paul Johnson's Obituary
Ronald Paul Johnson, 84, of Clinton, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at Genesis East, Davenport, Iowa. Services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Clinton Church of Christ. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4 to 7PM. Burial will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, Illinois. Ronald was born August 27, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Warren John and Freida B. (Butler) Johnson. He was educated in the Fulton Schools. Ronald married M. Caroline Adams he later married Janice Rae Daley and later Joyce Ann VanVerth.
He was employed at DuPont/Clysar for more than 45 years retiring in 1996. He also provided janitorial services at Agri-King in Fulton, Illinois and owned his own carpet cleaning business.
Ronald was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ and enjoyed stock car racing.
Survivors include his children, Marcia Carol (Joe) Strunk of Clinton, IA; Donna Marie Buikema of Fulton, IL; Debra Ann Bignar of Davenport, IA; Bambi (Felipe) Cruze of Tennessee; Patrick Adian Johnson of Clinton, IA; Kathryn N. Boyd of Clinton, IA; Matthew Paul (Carmen) Johnson of Clinton, IA; Ellen Christine (Kevin) Buckley of Fort Dodge, IA; Joseph Andrew (Shelley) Welch of Joplin, MO and Krystal (Doug) Jones of Clinton, IA and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
