Everybody mentions his closing, “ come Lord Jesus quickly, many of us are waiting for you were not one of us will be disappointed, middle Lord lift up his Countenance upon you, and give each of you his peace, amen “. Countenance upon you, and give each of you his peace, amen “ this gave such an unbelievable feeling of peace while the scent Of the snuffed out candles wafted through the church. It felt like .............home! Goodbye Pastor G see you again in heaven.

Pastor Goodsman had a big heart and a contagious laugh. He made going to church on Sunday something to look even more forward too. His sermons were education and he always put so much of himself into them. Whenever I play my keyboard, I always include his favorite song, 'My Faith Looks Up To Thee" I remember the Sunday he sang that in church. He will be truly missed. <3
Pastor Goodsman was an incredible Christian, great Pastor and wonderful friend. He had so much love to give. We all want to make a difference while we are on this earth and he clearly did just that. I am sure his laugh will be a great addition to Heaven...
I remember his passion for the word during service in church and out at camp. He came back to confirm my class in 2000; remember being so honored for him to do that after he had left the church (I didn't know back then it was due to cancer). Pastor Goodman will be forever remembered and missed greatly.
I will forever remember the first time he read A cup of Christmas Teas at an advent breakfast! Also including my daughter Alicia in her dad and my wedding ceremony

We all loved him at St. Thomas Lutheran, Panora. Jerry and Nancy Armstrong. My whole family loved him dearly. He was the reason my husband got confirmed. He spent many Christmas Eve's with us! We truly missed him when he took a call to another church. His laugh was contagious. I still pray his prayer: Come Lord Jesus quickly many of us are waiting and not one of us will be disappointed.
