Rodney Morhardt's Obituary
Rodney K. Morhardt, 58, of Clinton passed away, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his home – Clinton.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory.
Rodney K. Morhardt was born February 15, 1959 in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Carlos and Joyce (Edwards) Morhardt. He was a 1977 graduate of Mt. Carroll High School and attended Minnesota West Technical School. He married Carrie Bielema on November 4, 1993 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois; she preceded him in death on July 25, 2010.
He worked as a truck driver for Murphy’s Transport for 7 years and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved working on and riding motorcycles.
Rodney is survived by his children: Christina (Richard) Preston of Morris, Illinois, Jeremy (Alisha) Morhardt of Clinton, Justin (Lindsay) Morhardt of Fulton, Illinois, Amy Ross of Rockford, Illinois, Jared (Sam Miller) Morhardt of Clinton, Sierra (Stephen) Willis of Savanna, Illinois, Allix (Tamia) Morhardt of Clinton, Braxton Morhardt of Clinton and Dayton Morhardt of Clinton; fifteen grandchildren; one brother: Marc (Rebecca) Morhardt of Mt. Carroll; three sisters: Carla (Rick) Mallow of Mt. Carroll, Brenda Caffrerty of Mt. Carroll and Violet Knutson of Mt. Carroll; mother-in-law: Carol (Bruce) Reick of Sabula, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carrie, son Jacob Morhardt, and his parents.
Memorial may be made to the family.
