Robin M. Flynn's Obituary
Robin M. Flynn, Nana, Birdness, Rockin Robin 67, of Camanche, passed away, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her home.
A Memorial Service will be 6:00pm, Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to the service time at the funeral home.
Robin Mary Marik was born on January 7, 1955 in DeWitt, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Joan (Schrader) Marik. She was a 1973 graduate of Central High School in DeWitt. Robin continued her education at SCC becoming a lab tech assistant in 1981. In 1983 she married David Flynn of Thompson, IL. They were married 17 years and had 2 daughters Erin and Emily Flynn who they raised in Camanche. She was employed in the lab at Clintons Mercy Hospital for 20 years. In 2004 she starting working at MVRBC in Davenport’s and remained there until she retired in Jan of 2021. Both in which she made some lifelong friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends, being in the sunshine weather on the river, by the pool or vacationing you would find her having a good time. She enjoyed reading loved the color purple and her cats. She was most proud of her 5 grandsons and was always in the stands cheering them on at there many sporting events. Robin was loved by all that knew her and will be missed greatly.
Robin is survived by two daughters: Emily Flynn and Erin Flynn. five grandsons: Ethan, Elijah, Kingston, Braxton and Reese, her aunt: Annie (Charles) Clausen, her brother: Kevin(Joy) Marik, her sister: Tammy Marik, and step mother: Karla Marik. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Dean, Mark and her boyfriend Tom Hardison.
