Roberta Thureson's Obituary
Roberta L. Thureson, 80, of Camanche passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Alverno.
Private family graveside services will be Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Rock Island National Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
Roberta Louise Phillips was born on March 2, 1939 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of John and Helen (Wainwright) Phillips. She was a 1957 graduate of Moline High School. She married Harold O. Thureson on March 28, 1965 he passed away March 5, 1992.
Roberta was a cook for the Camanche schools for many years. She also worked at Golden Corral and AC Nielsen. She enjoyed bowling and doing wordfinds.
Roberta is surived by her son: Micheal (Catherine) Reed Thureson of Coralville, Iowa; and her grandsons: Tristan & Finn Thureson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters.
