Roberta “Jean” Yates, 80, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Eagle Point Nursing Home.
There will be no services or visitation.
Roberta Stratton was born on January 6, 1942 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Robert and Pauline (Gladhill) Stratton. She married Fay Yates on March 15, 1970 in Thomson, Illinois; he died in 1996.
Roberta worked as a cook at Myrna’s Kitchen in Mt. Carroll, Illinois for 10 years.
Roberta is survived by her daughter: Nancy (Derek) Dinning of Clinton; two grandsons: David Aude of Clinton and John Siragusa of Clinton; a great-granddaughter: Kiana Walters; two sisters: Shirley Sherman of Fulton and Georgia Isaacson of Morrison. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Ella.
