Robert Schwarz's Obituary
Robert "Bob" E. Schwarz, 60, of Clinton, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at his home.
A Service Celebrating his Life will be 10:30am, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Following the services his body will be cremated. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Rod Rud, Frank Millo, Jeremy Rud, Dan Rud, Mike Schultz, Jr., Sheridan Petersen, and his grandsons: Keagan Schwarz-Fox, and Wayne Boyer.
Robert Edwin Schwarz was born on October 2, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Edwin and Joan (Christiansen) Schwarz. Bob was raised in Andover and graduated from Northeast High School in 1965. Bob married Peggy Lenoch on January 24, 1976 in Adams, Minnesota.
Bob was employed with Chemplex/Equistar for 35 years as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 2003.
Bob enjoyed garden tilling, hunting with his son Tom; and fishing at Round Lake in Northern Minnesota with family and friends, especially his brother-in-law Rod.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Peggy of Clinton; three amazing children who demonstrated extreme love for their father during his sudden and brief battle with cancer, son: Tom (Sarah) Schwarz of Clinton; two daughters: Anna Boyer (partner Chris Kuhl) of Andover, Alissa Schwarz of North Liberty, Iowa; three adorable grandchildren: Keagan Schwarz-Fox, Wayne Boyer, and Maren Schwarz, and a special grandson: Collin Kuhl; his loving sister: Sandy Schwarz of Clinton; his mother-in-law: Mary Jane Lenoch of Austin, Minnesota and family of in-laws: Lynette of Rochester, Minnesota, Cindy (Rod) of Fairbault, Minnesota, Ed (Annette) of Crystal, Minnesota, Randy (Jeanie) of Noonan, Georgia, Lisa of Rochester, Minnesota, and Mark (Tracy) of Austin, Minnesota, and aunts, uncle, and cousins in Clinton and Morrison, Illinois.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law: Floyd Lenoch, and a special aunt Eleanor Schwarz.
