Blessings and godspeed, Bob. You were such a gift to this family.
With love and gratitude,
Mike, Kate and Amanda
Dad loved his community in Comanche, and his friends were a god send after Jackie's passing. I have heard so many stories I think I know all of you even though we have never met. His last days were spent on the shooting range he set up in my field with his grandson, driving the golf cart around the property, playing with the dog and cats, beating me at cribbage, and eating enough ice cream to sink a ship. We took drives and shared the stories of the past, and laughed at his goofy jokes. As with everything my dad did, his passing was just as he wanted it. We were with him when he joined all that he loved that went before him. I miss him, but I know he is where he wanted to go and I take comfort in that.

Bob was more like a brother, as well as a good friend. He was a patriotic and spiritual person. We shared many "Sea-Stories" that always ended with a good laugh, as well as a smile. I will miss those good times I shared, with that Irishman. Wishing his family condolences, peace and comfort. In his new duty-station wishing Bob; calm winds, gentle waves and deep blue, waters.
