Robert J. McNulty, 69, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at MercyOne - Clinton.

Robert John McNulty was born October 25, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Edward and Burnette (Owen) McNulty. He married Cheryl Gilligan in June 1974 in Rock Island, Illinois; she preceded him in death on March 30, 2015.
Bob served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a Fireman for the City of Clinton for many years. He enjoyed socializing with friends at the Eagles Club, he took a fondness for his wife’s cats and loved sports especially watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and all University of Iowa Hawkeye sports.
Bob is survived by his two sons: Ryan (Sara) McNulty of Clinton and Shawn (Bobbi) Knutsen of Goose Lake, Iowa; four grandchildren: Bryanna, Christian, Carter and Corbin; and one brother Patrick McNulty of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and three brothers: William, Michael and Ronnie.
