Robert McManus' Obituary
Robert L. McManus, 82, of Camanche passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his home.
Graveside Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche. Serving as pallbearers will be Albert, Danny, Mike, and Patrick McManus & Dustin Dau. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Robert LeRoy McManus was born on January 18, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert and Ila (Bentley) McManus. He was a 1960 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Bonnie Nassif on August 6, 1966.
Bob was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and later owned and operated a warehouse business with his wife retiring in 1995. He loved everything outdoors; especially hunting and bass fishing. He was a member of the IUOE Local #150 and a lifetime member of B.A.S.S.
Bob is survived by his wife: Bonnie of Camanche, two daughters: Christine and Julie McManus both of Camanche; and his brother: Jim (Kathy) McManus of Olympia, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Don, David, and Tom.
Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
