Robert Johnson's Obituary
Robert L. Johnson, 61, of Clinton, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his home in Clinton.
Memorial Services will be 10:30am, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Ron Lott and Rev. Jon Booth officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30am to the service time at the funeral home. A reception will follow the memorial service at the Erickson Community Center.
Robert Lee Johnson was born on July 14, 1946 in Boscobel, Wisconsin, the son of Charles and Irene (Cleven) Johnson. He married Patricia Oberhart on July 9, 1977 in Geneva, Illinois.
He was a plant manager with Dynaweld Trailer in Aurora, Illinois for over 20 years.
He enjoyed spending his time on his houseboat on the Mississippi River and remodeling his home that he purchased in Clinton. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia of Clinton; one son: Robert Wiemerslager of Waterloo, Iowa; his daughter: Chris Mergen of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; his step-son: Byran (Chantell) Splinter of Marengo, Illinois, and his step-daughter: Dawn (Steve) Steinmann of Marengo, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; two sisters: Patty (Kenneth) Hausner of Campbellsport, Wisconsin and Terri (Larry) Klema of Bagley, Wisconsin; one brother: Jerry (Lorraine) Johnson of Broadhead, Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother: John.
