Robert L. Goddard's Obituary
Robert L. Goddard, 79, of Hopkins, Minn., died January 7, 2026.
Private Family Services will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
Robert was born on August 16, 1947 the son of LeRoy and Doris (Tramell) Goddard in Clinton, Iowa, he graduated from Camanche High School and earned a master’s degree from the University of Iowa. He was a Vietnam veteran (1969–1971) and Bronze Star recipient.
Survivors include his sisters, Susan (Robert) Richeson of Camanche, Iowa, and Jeanne McKenzie of Camanche, Iowa, and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law: Tom McKenzie.
