Robert Eugene Franzen's Obituary
Bob “Shack” Eugene Franzen, 57, of Camanche, died Monday, August 22, 2016 at his home in Camanche. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 5 to 7PM, Thursday, August 25, 2016, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig. Following the celebration of life, friends are welcome to join the family at Bonnie’s Tap, Clinton.
Bob was born March 18, 1959 in Clinton, the son of Donald and Irene (Guidebeck) Franzen. Bob married Jane Winoski on July 2, 1977.
He was employed at Dairy Pak from 1978 to 1998 and most recently worked at ALCOA.
Bob was an avid bowler and bowled in several leagues, he loved the Cubs, Bears and Hawks.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Franzen of Clinton; son, Bob (Lindsey) Franzen of Clinton; grandchildren, Brayden, Kayleigh and Ava; brothers, Donald (Sheila) Franzen of Fulton and Karl (Tere) Franzen of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Duane, sister, Raeann and nephew, Michael.
