Robert G. Brown's Obituary
Robert G. “Bob” Brown, 77, of Rock Island and formerly of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Heartland Health Care, Moline.
Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:00 pm Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will take place at St. Irenaeus Cemetery, Clinton. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Mitchell and Joshua Tiesman, and Phillip, Aaron, Michael Jory and Jace Brown.

Bob was born October 20, 1937 in Green Bay, WI, the son of George and Irene Reski Brown. He was a 1957 graduate of Wrightstown High School, WI. Bob married Judith Taylor November 7, 1964 in Morrison, Illinois; she died July 23, 2003.
He was employed at Economy Insulation, Moehr Painting and Insulation and Clinton Corn.
Robert was an avid bowler, was a member of the 700 Club, and president and vice-president of several leagues including the Midwest League and the River Valley. He was also a NASCAR fan and Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his children, Lori (Les) Schofield of Clinton, IA; Mark (Angie) Brown of Clinton, IA; Gregory Brown of Davenport, IA and Joel (Jenny) Brown of Miles, IA; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother, James Brown of Appleton, WI; sisters, Darlene Micke and Betty Milkquitte both of Green Bay and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
