I never knew Robert personally. My only memories are the stories my father told me. My father, Robert Blanford, served with Robert aboard the USS Ajax during WWII. They're shipmates again, in heaven. God bless.

Mr. Bolte was a member of the USS Ajax Reunion Association having served on the USS Ajax AR-6 in 1943. He was one of our beloved plankowners. We will all miss him so much and all the great stories he had to tell. Rest in Peace shipmate. Prayers for his wife Bernice and all the family.
