Robert L. Anderson, 84, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Big Meadows Nursing Home – Savanna.
There will be no services or visitation, private family burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Robert LeRoy Anderson was born on January 27, 1938 in Clinton, the son of Wayne and Dorothy Anderson. He attended Clinton High School. (Marriage info).
Robert was a boiler operator on the Rock Island Arsenal for many years. He enjoyed traveling and reading.
Robert is survived by his sons: Steve (Debbie) Anderson of Westminster, Colorado, and Robert Anderson, Jr. of Clinton; one granddaughter, and a brother Donnie Anderson of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a wife, and a daughter: Kimberly Bashon.
