Richard Wesa's Obituary
Richard W. Wesa, 64, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center - North Campus in Clinton, IA. The family will receive friends at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be no services.
Richard was born on January 21, 1945, in Carlton, MN, the son of Walter and Louise (Ladeen) Wesa. He married Rae Ann Dellit on November 9, 1996 in Clinton, Iowa; she died October 13, 2005.
Richard was a Hibbing, MN High School graduate and attended junior college in Hibbing. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving from 1963 to 1967. He was employed as a computer engineer at GE for 30 years retiring in 2006.
Survivors include his son, Jay Wesa of Morrison, IL, sisters, Terri (Jose) Benavides of Katy, TX and Connie Eberl of Corpus Christi, TX, nephews, Michael Eberl and Jake Benavides and niece Ayla Benavides all of Texas. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents.
