Richard H. Rosenboom, 92, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, February 6, 2023 at his home.
Graveside Services will be 10:00am, Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanache. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Richard Henry Rosenboom was born on December 20, 1930 in Eddyville, Iowa, the son of Henry and Arlean (King) Rosenboom. He married Lillian Taylor on June 21, 1952 in Houston, Texas; she passed away September 22, 2008. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1952.
Richard as employed with Clinton Corn from 1948-1979 and also PFC. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye fan. He also enjoyed playing golf and going to the casino.
Richard is survived by three sons: Terry Rosenboom of Rock Island, Illinois, Larry (Ludella) Rosenboom of Clinton, Missouri, and Ronald (Kristen) Rosenboom of Sunburg, Minnesota; one daughter, Lorraine Rosenboom of Clinton; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and one sister: Marilyn Schnurstein of Cornelius, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
