Rev. David P. Stimson, 90, of Clinton, Iowa, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Alverno. Services will be 11am Saturday, November 27, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Pallbe Read Obituary
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during your loss. I'll always remember Pastor Stimson as a very kind-hearted man (who put up with a lot especially when his daughter and her friends would get together and make prank phone calls from the parsonage). Hmm..... I wonder which daughter that was????
Words cannot express how much Uncle Dave has meant to us over the years. He always was there to encourage us and show us the love of the Lord. There was always a smile on his face. Now he's seeing His Savior face to face and visiting with his parents, sisters and brother and someday we'll see him again. Aunt Eleanor, Wade, Scott, Wendy, Kirk and Kerry..our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this time.

I have many fond memories of Pastor Stimson from church and from family get togethers at Daryl and Wendy's place. Always thought of David and Eleanor as a part of my extended "family". Remember lots of great fun at the Stimson home playing music over the years. I remember "Big Stim" playing basketball with us at Camanche. God Bless Your Family. He has reached his final reward and served the kingdom faithfully while here.
