Ray was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He was very humble and unassuming. I visited him at South on Memorial Day. I brought him a water glass with an American flag in it. He mentioned that June really liked flags. I thanked him for his service to our country and and for my freedom. He just replied quietly, "Glad I could do it." He mentioned he served 3 years and 28 days in the Marines. And I said, but who's counting? Then we laughed. Ray was easy to talk to and you knew he really cared about you. The world is a better place because of him. I imagine there's a great time going on in Heaven with Ray, Becky, Loren, and others shouting and singing! Don Hall
