Randy J. “Squid” Quigley, 61, of Clinton passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 at MercyOne-Clinton.
Memorial gathering and visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory-Clinton to enjoy one last shot in his memory for those who knew him well. Randy James Quigley was born on October 20, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of James and Doris (Jewell) Quigley. He attended Clinton Community School. He and Peggy Ramey had been together since 1986 and married on June 4, 1993. Randy worked at Smurfit West Rock as a Trucker from 1991 until present. Fondly called Squid, he enjoyed listening to Rock music, playing golf and loved Astronomy. He loved spending time with his family, had a great sense of humor and was an avid New York Giants Fan.
Randy is survived by his wife Peggy Quigley of Clinton; daughter: Shandi (Micah Corbin) Quigley of CLinton; step-son: Joshua (Jessica) Edwards of Fredonia, Kansas; grandchildren: Noah Quigley-Palmer, RJ Edwards, Kelbe Edwards and Kaylee (Kiley) Cash; step-grandchildren: Levi, Alaura, Emma, Dustin and Evee; nephew Kevin Botkin, sister-in-law Ricki Callen and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Ronald Edwards and two brothers: Mike and David Callen, and special great niece Amber Pfitzer.
