Darrell Broughton, 74, of Camanche, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at his home in Camanche.

Richard Darrell Broughton was born on February 28, 1939 in Saline County, Missouri the son of Bryan and Daisy (Johnson) Broughton. He married Coleen Gehrls on June 1, 1958, they later divorced. They had three children: his daughter: Kathy Corbin of Clinton; and her children: David (Tasha) Corbin, Patti (Aaron) Cady, Kristin Corbin, and Billie (Cole) Weatherwax; his late son: Kevin Broughton and wife Patty of Clinton and his first wife: Jeana Broughton; his children: the late Christopher Broughton, Joseph Broughton, and Adam Griffin; his daughter: Karen Broughton and her special friend Doug Sanderson of Camanche; her children: Joshua (Jennifer) Delk, Jaycob (Kristain) Pell, Jessica (David) Hicks, and Roger Pell, Jr.; his special cousin: Vernon (Iris) Lafollette; his extended family and his special friend: Bud his cat.
Darrell enjoyed woodworking, tree trimming, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son: Kevin, grandson Christopher, one great-granddaughter: Cora, one sister, and three brothers.
