Philip G. Siefken's Obituary
Philip G. Siefken, 54, of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Edward Hospital – Naperville, Illinois.
Memorial Services will be 1:00pm, Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 11:00am to the service time Monday at the funeral home. Private burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Philip Gene Siefken was born on October 26, 1967 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, the son of Gene and Kathleen (Lathrop) Siefken. He was a graduate of Hinsdale – South.
Philip had many adventures in life, from being a JC Penny manager like his Dad to opening a Tire Plus in Sterling, Illinois. He was currently working with Signature Retail Services for the past 16 years.
Phil was an avid pool player and won numerous tournaments. He was also a connoisseur of cigars. He enjoyed learning about US History and was a tremendous joker. He loved the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He was an incredible animal lover and will be missed by many.
Phil is survived by his father: Gene Siefken of Dubuque; his brother: Robert Siefken of Longmont, Colorado; his sister: Tara (Peter) Sirna of Clinton; two nephews: Donivan & Parker Sirna; a niece: Fearah Siefken; and a great-niece: Chloe Sirna. He was preceded in death by his mother: Kathleen.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
