Paula Jean The Beauty Queen Hayton, 71, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Eagle Point Nursing Home – Clinton.
Memorial Services will be 4:00pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory with visitation from 2:00pm to the service time. Paula loved the color red, so if inclined dress in causal red.
Paula Jean Hayton was born on July 8, 1954 in Clinton, the daughter of Allen and Hazel (Schmitz) Hayton.
Paula worked at the Skyline Center for many years. She loved to dance and play bingo. Whether on horseback, motorcycle or jetski she loved to be on the move. She also loved country music; especially her favorite singer: Blake Shelton.
Paula is survived by her two sisters: Norma Casey of Camanche and Iris Hartman of Clinton; a brother: Don Kohl of Davenport and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special cousin: Sherry (Rick) Jacobsen of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
