Rest in peace, Paulibus. To Sarah and family, Paul was our quick wit. A joy and a ready smile. Did not know of his passing until read the school newsletter. You have our sincere Sympathy. Paul was a St. Mary's Classmate, class of 1961, He was my helper as I was hard of hearing and Paul always made sure I understood and always was the joker as we made fun of the weekly reader articles and he pontificated in character. We sat on the wall as we talked about life's larger mysteries.and usually were sent back in to clean blackboards, the walls were off limits. Then he really went into action. Usually started with an eraser slap on the back, I'd powder his nose then and he would go into an exaggerated choke on the chalk dust. We were never boyfriend and girl friend but good friends. Paul was a singular fellow, a deeper thinker I have not known. Sarah, you and your family will miss those puppy dog eyes. The same eyes he used on the nuns to skirt a lecture. There is a special place for Paul in our Father's house, and it will be a big place to embrace his joyful spirit. My sincere sympathy. Rita Pieczynski Waage
