Paul Hufford's Obituary
Paul H. Hufford, 87, of Clinton, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Eagle Point Nursing Home, Clinton.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Private Family Services will be Wednesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Moline American Legion.
Paul H. Hufford was born on October 11, 1920 in Luray, Missouri the son of Floyd and Virginia (Cochran) Hufford. He married Wilma Hall on May 6, 1943; she later died July 16, 1971.
Paul was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army in North Africa, France and Germany.
Paul was a firefighter serving at the Schick Hospital and the Rock Island Arsenal until retiring in 1976.
Paul was a member of the Clinton Moose Lodge #363 and the Clinton AMVETS Post #28.
Paul is survived by one son: Ron (Bonnie) Hufford of Clinton; three grandchildren: Kristy (Brian) Nacker of Madison, Wisconsin, Cheri Hufford of Anchorage, Alaska, and Cindy Hufford of Clinton
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one brother.
Memorials can be made to the VNA Hospice.
