Patti Nelson's Obituary
Patti L. Nelson, 67, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, March 31, 2025 at her home.
A visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Patti Lou Nelson was born on March 4, 1958 in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of Dwayne and Lila (Reed) Nelson. She was a 1976 graduate of Clinton High School.
Patti was a case manager with the YWCA and also worked as a regional supervisor with the Salvation Army.
Patti enjoyed helping others, saving animals, and spending time with her family and friends.
Patti is survived by her children: Abbey (Dan) Estrella of Clinton and Eugene Gertson, III of Davenport, Iowa; three grandchildren: Javier, Elliana, and Isaac Estrella; her two brothers: Jeff (Sandy) Nelson of Sabula, and Gary (Gwen) Nicholson of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Nick “Bobbie” Nicholson.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
