Patricia A. Turner's Obituary
Patricia A. Turner, 72, of Clinton passed away, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Alverno.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 9:00am to the service time Friday at the funeral home.
Patricia Ann Sturtz was born on October 25, 1950 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William and Hazel (Rhoades) Sturtz. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She married James Turner on December 22, 1966 in Morrison, Illinois.
Patty was employed at Mercy-Childcare for 26 years retiring in 2016.
Patty was a member of Church of the Visitation. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago Cub fan. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with friends, and walking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Patty is survived by her husband: Jim of Clinton; her children: Dawn (Allen) Shano of Houston, Texas, Dana LaGarde of Austin, Texas, Kelly Ng of Houston, and Brian (Kristin) Turner of Princeton, Iowa; nine grandchildren: Lauren, Emma, Chase, Trudy, Miles, Lydia, Leia, Logan, and Ian; her siblings: John “Jack” (Anna) Sturtz of Circleville, Ohio, James (Marie) Sturtz of Clinton, Ada Steeg of Clinton, and Rita (Bill) Sechrest of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son-in-law: Kevin Ng.
Memorials can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
