Gary Mitchell here in San Antonio. I was a High School classmate of Pat. Oh such fun we had in those days or our youth. I remember Pat was a front line cheerleader. She had the voice for it. I specifically recall the new cheerleading outfits with the"official" black and white "bloomers" when they first showed them off at a pep rally--skirts up--on the west side of the HS building. Pat led the show. She was such a character. For sure, she will be missed by her family.

I have so many wonderful memories growing up next door to your family. Your Mom and Dad were such wonderful, caring people. I have no words to express my most heartfelt, deepest sympathies to your families. I named my Daniel after your Daniels. Both of them. I still think of you all as my second family growing up. Mary, Meg, Molly, Maureen and Dan and families, you are in our prayers and thoughts during this sad time. Your family was the best neighbors our family has ever had the privilege of living next door to. The time period of September 1973 to July 1977 was filled with back yard ball games, visits over the fence, watching Dan throw the football and a very young Maureen coming to the back door to play! We will cherish these memories as you will cherish memories of your Mother. She made the world a better place to be and now will watch over you from Heaven. The Chinburgs were at a family reunion in Michigan when we heard of your mom's passing. We all have such fond memories of her - what a remarkable woman. Her greatest legacy is leaving behind such a warm and caring group of children. Hugs to all of you.
