Patricia Joan Milder's Obituary
Patricia “Pat” Joan Milder, 83 of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on September 15, 2024. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1-4 pm at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home in Clinton, Iowa.
Pat was born to Joseph and Jane (Richmond) Jackson on August 20, 1941 in Clinton. She married Kenneth Milder on May 5, 1962 in Clinton. They were married for 62 years. Together they built a great life and had four children - Jeff, Mark, Kevin, and their daughter Jill Christine who passed in infancy.
Pat stayed busy throughout her life. In their younger days, she and Ken were members of many bowling leagues, and were incredible dancers and roller skaters. She worked for the Clinton County Recorder’s Office for many years. After retiring she volunteered for Mercy Hospital, was a member of the Wa-Tan-Ye Club and First Baptist Church in Clinton. She also enjoyed attending events for her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Pat was a people person with a wry sense of humor and an infectious laugh. You couldn’t go anywhere without her knowing someone and stopping to chat. She loved her family and friends very much.
Pat is survived by her husband Ken of Clinton, IA; 3 sons - Jeff (Linda) Milder of Clinton; Mark (Konnie) Milder of Ottumwa, IA; Kevin (Kim) Milder of Lena, IL. Seven grandchildren - Derek, Michael, Andrew, Stephanie, Noah, Grace, and Ally. Two great-grandchildren - Everett and Hallie. One sister - Virginia Jennings of Oregon, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter Jill, and her brother Joel.
