Patricia Larson's Obituary
Patricia A. Larson, 75, of Clinton died Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa. A private family service was conducted. A Memorial Service and burial will be at a later date. Patricia Ann Larson was born January 30, 1935 in Holland, Michigan, the daughter of Richard and Mildred (Slaugh) Wiersema. She married Milford J. Larson on January 31, 1953 in Fulton, Illinois. He died on February 17, 1991. She attended Lyons High School and worked as a nurse’s aide at Mercy Hospital for over 30 years, after which she continued working and helping people at many local nursing facilities and in her own home. Patricia enjoyed painting both pictures and ceramic sculptures; she loved playing bingo and spending time in her garden, and being with her family and pets. She is survived by 4 daughters: Pamela (Kevin) Miller of Clinton; Melody (Jeff) Adams of Clinton; Kimberly (Steve) Goecke of New Glarus, Wisconsin; and Tabitha Larson of Clinton; 3 sons: David Larson of Dubuque, Iowa; Danny (Marcia) Larson of Clinton; and Mark (Tammy)Larson of Clinton; 10 grandchildren: Shannon; Jennifer; Nathan; Katrina; Amber; Justin; Kendell; Alex; Tyler; and Amy; 7 great grandchildren: Alyssa; Mason; Keaton; Dylon; Jaxon; Mackenzie; and Grace. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant daughter; and a granddaughter. Memorials may be made to the family.
