Patricia A. Kehrberg's Obituary
Patricia A. Kehrberg, 80, of Clinton passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Alverno-Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at First Methodist Church-Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery next to her husband. Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Kehrberg, Scott Kehrberg, Jessie VanLoo, John Luke Cleveland, Larry Kehrberg, Michael Kehrberg and Kevin Snider. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. To honor Pat the family requests that everyone wear her favorite color purple.
Patricia Ann Woodward was born June 28, 1945 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Frances (Davis) Woodward. She was a 1963 graduate of Oskaloosa High School. She married Ronald Kehrberg on June 10, 1965; he preceded her in death on January 3, 2020. She was a 1967 graduate of William Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa where she earned her teaching degree.
Pat cared for so many children over the years in her home providing childcare. She was a program assistant at Clinton Community School retiring in 2020. She was a director at Zion Child Care Preschool and president of the para educators in Clinton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was very active in her women’s circle and knitting and crocheting circle. She was a Foster Parent for 43 years and was a board member of the Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents. She was a lifetime member of NEA, Service Unit Director of Girl Scouts and Den Leader for Cub Scouts. She was a devoted member of the Clinton Community and loved time spent with her family.
She is survived by her four children: Scott (Nan) Kehrberg, Shannon (Michelle) Kehrberg, Sharla (John) Cleveland and Mea Kehrberg; eight grandchildren: Jessie (Kalli), Michael, Lily, John, Jessalyn, Christopher, Autumn and Terry; siblings: Duane (Becky) Woodward, Nancy (Ron) White, sisters-in-law: Bernice Woodward and Ella Kehrberg; brother-in-law: Lyle (Linda) Kehrberg; her beloved dogs: Gunner and Molly; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Norman Woodward, sister Virginia Smith; and brother-in-law Robert Kehrberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Parkinson’s Research.
