Patricia Dellit's Obituary
Patricia A. Dellit, 77, of LeClaire, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Visitation will be 12-1 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Graveside services will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery immediately following the visitation. Patricia Ann Kohler was born March 11, 1933 to Carl J. and Alma Ann (Kruse) Kohler in Clinton, Iowa. She married Donald Gene Dellit on January 15, 1955. He died October 21, 2008. She worked as a machinist for Caterpillar in Mt. Joy. She loved crocheting, knitting, gardening, canning, and her pets. She also had a very talented hand at upholstery and wood refinishing. Patricia is survived by one daughter: Linda Dellit of Bettendorf; one son: Todd (Teresa) Dellit of Fulton; two grandchildren: Robin (Greg) Pierce of Muskegon, Michigan and Chad Dellit who is currently stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina; two brothers: Glen and Martin James Kohler; aunt: Marguerite Hurlburt of Clinton; a special aunt: Anna Mae Costello of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, baby son: Patrick Gene, parents, and grandparents. Memorial may be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
