Orian "OJ" Hinrichs' Obituary
Orian ?O.J.? James Hinrichs, 47, of McCausland, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at his home.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 3:00-8:00pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Private Services will be on Wednesday. Serving as pallbearers will be RC (Reggie) Kauffman, Garry Caves, Dale Yocum, John Corbin, John Mertz, David (Red Dog) Hollingsworth, Mick (Slugo) Webster. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bob Schroeder, Jeff Schroeder, David Sullivan, Ted Tubbs, Jim Bryden, George Toubekis, Marv Kane, and Jamison Kruger.
Orian James Hinrichs was born December 7, 1959 in DeWitt, Iowa the son of Robert and Mildred (Willie) Hinrichs. He started dating Mary Wegmann in 1990 and they were later married on July 3, 2001 in at their home in McCausland.
He was a carpenter with Carpenters Union Local #166 in Rock Island starting in 1995 and retired early after 13 years of service due to his illness. He was an avid rider of his Harley Davission Motorcycle, enjoyed dancing and his farm.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Wegmann-Hinrichs of McCausland and special people: granddaughters: Madaea Mae Wegmann of Wisconsin and Meghan and Nikole Toubekis of Oskaloosa, Iowa; his brother: Carl Hinrichs of Clinton; cousin: Helen Isely of Jensen Beach, Florida; two aunts: Georgiann Willie of Santa Maria, California, and Vi Hinrichs of Stuart, Florida; he is also survived by children, step-children, grandchildren, siblings and other relatives that are estranged.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two infant siblings.
