Nunzia Ytzen's Obituary
Nunzia “Nancy” Ytzen, 87, of Clinton died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center North Campus. Funeral services will be 10:30am Monday, September 5, 2011 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00am until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Nunzia Agnes Calabrese was born on December 26, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Flora (Spraker) Calabrese. She was a 1941 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Lowell B. Ytzen on July 29, 1945 in Clinton. She was employed with the Clinton Credit Bureau for 25 years until retiring in 1983. Nancy was a former member of the Agatha Auxiliary and the Jayceettes. She was previously active in ceramics classes at the Erickson Center. She is survived by her husband Lowell of Clinton; one daughter, Patricia (Richard) Bickel of Bolingbrook, Illinois; one son, Charles M. (Karen) Ytzen of Schaumberg, Illinois; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Ytzen, Erika (Jacob) Wilson, and Patrick Ytzen, and one great-grandson Aidan Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
