Norman C. Elliott's Obituary
Norman C. Elliott, 76, of Clinton, Iowa passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the VA Home, Marshalltown, Iowa.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.
Norman was born October 8, 1936 in Atlanta, GA, the son of Ralph and Judy (Bollan) Elliott. Norman married Mary Bebensee on May 24, 1963 in Fairfield, CA.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than twenty years of service. After retirement he was employed at a Clinton auto parts store, Clinton Electric Motors, in maintenance at Nielsen’s Clearing House and was a tour bus driver for R.C. Smith.
He was a stock car fan and driver and was an avid bears fan.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Clinton; children, Bruce (Anna) Elliott of Rome, GA; Vicky Elliott of Lithia Springs, GA; Kim (Steve) Prince of Douglasville, GA; Deb (Bob) Bell of Clinton; Dan Elliott of Clinton; Patricia Erne of Camanche and Barbara (Jeff) Rus of Grand Mound, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and mother, Judy Bollan of Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandson Adney Erne and one brother.
Memorials may be made to the family for a favorite charity.
