I just wanted to send my condolisences to the family. I deliver their mail for over 5 years now and it was a pleasure. She was a sweet and kind woman. Again, Sorry to hear of your loss of such a great woman, mom and friend. She is now in heaven without any pain or suffering.
Friends,
Jennifer Rice
Dick and Family- Dad called me the other night and the first thing that came to my mind was Norma always having a bag of goodies waiting for my boys every Halloween.
The summers that Zachary was "home" was always fun. She knew that the both of us would get into something and just waited for us to call her!
She was a awesome lady that will be missed.
Remembering the good thoughts.
Dick - My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Dear Dick and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Norma. I loved her so much. she always had a kind word and beautiful smile. I am so sorry I have not kept in touch after Debbie died because I have thought of all of you over the years.Bill, I will always remember how much we used to laugh when you tried to hit the ceiling with your head like a basketball!Jill, you will always be the little sister that Debbie loved so much and Lynn, I miss the times we used to go to Davenport or out and about. We had fun. Now, I'm old, have 7 Grandchildren, and still live in Clinton, Ia. Victor move to Arkansas to retire just recently and ask about you all often. I send my love to you all. Sincerely, Judie Nielsen.
We never had the privilege to meet Norma. Everything we know of her is from stories Bill has told us. Regardless, we are thankful for the blessing she has left on our world - specifically, a son who continually puts the needs of family and friends before his own. It's wonderful to see a family who works so hard to take care of each other. Thank you Bill for being a devoted friend for so long. Please know that even though we can't be there, we have your family in our thoughts and prayers.
I have been trying to get a hold of my grandma for a while now and I am sad say as I was looking for away to get a hold of her online I came across this obituary and found out of her passing. I am the son of Deborah Sloan and I will miss her just as much as I miss my mom. God bless.
