Nicholas J. Luskey, 22, of Fulton, passed away, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.
A Candlelight vigil will be 7:00pm, Friday, February 3, 2017 at his home at 21209 Balk Lane - Fulton.***
Services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the First Baptist Church – Clinton. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-8:00pm at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Fecht, J.D Fecht, Ashton Hutton, Aaron Lovell, Nick Wright, and Matt Walters. Following the services his body will be cremated. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Nicholas Jordan Luskey was born on March 23, 1994 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Suellina Luskey. He was a 2012 graduate of Fulton High School. He attended Northern Illinois University and also Hamilton Technical College.
Nicholas was currently employed in shipping and receiving at Walmart and had been employed at Culver’s. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games, bowling, and board games. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
Nicholas is survived by his mother: Suellina (Brent) Fecht of Fairfax, Iowa; his sister: Jessika Koenes, step-brothers: Ryan & John Fecht all at home, his maternal grandparents: Steve and Denise Luskey of Fulton, his big brother uncle: Joe (Karyn) Luskey of Fulton, Illinois, and his cousins: Madyson and Claire “Bear” Luskey and many great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother: Wilma Welch, and two aunts: Cathy Alberts and Joan Letcher.
Memorials can be made to a fund being established for his sister and cousins.
