Meghan Sweet Mitchell
Nate lived above me in Bucktown from 2001-2003. He was always a great friend- willing to do anything- including driving us to Flash Taco at 2 am when we needed snacks, making sure Oscar- the dog- was well loved, and keeping us safe from a variety of nefarious things. He had a kind and generous heart and a laugh that would make you laugh along with him. My absolute favorite memory with Nate was getting kicked out of Target because we were creating a ruckus in the toy department by bouncing on those big bouncing balls. I was pretty uptight and Nate helped me see the joy in the little things. Nate was a huge part of my life when I was young and trying to figure it all out and he will always hold a very special place in my heart.
