Nancy K. Grim's Obituary
Nancy K. Grim, 81, of Camanche, passed away, Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00am to the mass time at the church. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Nancy Kay Finn was born on February 6, 1942 in Clinton, the son of William and Kathryn (Howard) Finn. She was a 1960 graduate of Mt. St. Claire Academy. She married Larry Grim on December 26, 1962 in Clinton.
Nancy was employed with Target for many years. She also worked as a custodian in the Camanche schools. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s activities, boating, golfing, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Nancy is survived by her husband: Larry of Camanche; her son: Dave (Gail) Grim of Camanche, her daughter: Kathy (Greg) Forari of Camanche; five grandchildren: Taylor Grim, Katarina Forari, Keaton Forari, Hampton Grim, and Chase Grim; three sisters-in-law: Mary Lou Finn of Clinton, Judy Finn of Pekin, Illinois, and Leslie Grim of Mount Carroll, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers: Larry, Bill, and Mike.
Memorials can be made to the Church of the Visitation.
