Our lives will be forever enriched by our friendship with Gene & Shirley. We treasure the times we spent at dinner with Gene on his trips to Arkansas and are so humbled that he invited us to come along with our kids and granddaughters. He was truly a wonderful man, a good friend, and he will be missed very much. But it's only for a little while and we'll be together again on the Other Shore. What a day that will be! Our hearts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We pray for the comfort and peace that only God can provide because it's exactly what you need right now. And He is faithful, always there when we need Him. Love and Prayers Always, Aaron & Glynda (Mom & Dad)
Myron was one of the most kind and lovely people that I have met in my life. I met Myron and Shirley while working with Linda at Country Kitchen. I always enjoyed conversations with Myron and Shirley. They were always truely in love with each other and made me feel like I was one of the family. Myron would always tell Linda and I to have a godd time before we went out after working at the restaurant. I also always enjoyed the beautiful roses that were in the yard during the summer. I have tried to grow several roses in my yard and never been successful like Myron and my father. i have adjusted and have a beautiful perrenial garden without any roses. I am sure that myron is in heaven with Shirley and they will watch over the Kentucky Derby.
I say that grandpa was always caring and helpful.I'm thankful for the blessings he's given all of us.
WE LOVE YOU GRANDPA!
my dad taught me about respect, honesty, and mercy. He would always say its not the end of the world.....Close but not the end.He will be missed but not forgotten.
Our sympathies go out to the family of our dear neighbor "Myron". Seventeen years ago we met the sweetest, kindest, most enjoyable couple that became "our new neighbors" and we knew then we picked the best neighborhood. Myron will be missed by all of us up here on the hill but his spirit will always be alive with the memories he and Shirley have left us. "Going to visit my Sweetie then on to the races" is what he would say. Now he is with his "Sweetie" forever! May the family find comfort in their memories and knowing he touched the lives of so many others with TRUE KINDNESS.
To the Donahey family,
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of you, regarding the passing of your dad...
He was a very kind and loving person and a great friend. I have so many wonderful memories of both of your parents! They were very special people, and my family loved both of them very much! I will always miss them!
Nothing was more important than family,to Myron... I know he loved each of you so much..and was so proud to have such good kids!! Just take comfort in knowing now, that he finally has been reunited with his wonderful Miss Shirley Rose..
Love and sympathy to you all,
Heather Struck
May you now rest in peace Uncle Gene. You will be missed but never forgotten.
