Murlynne S. Camp, 87, of Story City, IA formerly of Clinton, died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Bethany Manor in Story City, IA. Services will be private on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Wednesday January 2, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Murlynne was born December 8, 1920 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Florence (Seymour) Lake. She was a Lyons High School graduate. She married Maurice Camp June 15, 1940 in Clinton; he died June 16, 1994. Murlynne retired from A C Nielsen after 20 years of employment. She was a member of the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, Terry (Mary) Camp, Ames, Iowa; daughter, Gay Lynn (Jerry) Alles, Fort Morgan, CO; grandchildren, Patrick, Nicole and Shane; and her sister Jean Legendre of Staunton, IL. Her husband, parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church.
