Shorty was a friend of my father's (Jerry "Hump" Humphrey) who also worked for Farmall and was an officer in the UAW Local 1309. My father has been gone since 1983.
Shorty was a very good friend to my father and always had a smile and a kind word when we saw him. After retirement I ran into him a few times at the reunions. I was very glad to know him. I am sorry for your loss.
